Types of Membership

Student Members are people who are studying Home Economics or a related discipline.

Individual Members are people who are participating in practice, education or research of Home Economics or are interested in these topics.

Organisational Members are professional associations, universities, schools and other organisations involved in Home Economics

Associate Members are businesses and industries concerned with Home Economics topics.

Membership Fees

The IFHE Membership Fee per year is:

£20 for Student Members

£50 for Individual Members

£250 for Organisational Members

£250 for Associate Members

This fee includes membership to the IFHE and the UK section. Click here to apply now.

All fees include access to the Members Area of this website for one named member (i.e. the member named on the application form)

The Members Area includes a Members Directory to enable networking and Discussion Forums where job listings can be found and topical issues discussed

Promoting your Freelance Business or Organisation

An additional annual fee will secure an entry in our online freelance directory.

The additional fee is

£5 for Individual Members

£50 for Organisational Members

£50 for Associate Members
